The company was founded in 1973 by Avroy and Beryl Shlain, and for 48 years Avroy Shlain has been providing the local market with high-quality products such as Skincare, Anti-aging products, Colour products, Body care, Hair care, Fragrances and Accessories.

Over time it kept adding products to its range, making it a prestigious competitor in the industry. Avroy Shlain was part of the internationally acclaimed Tupperware Brand Corporation, but has since left the group, and with new Chief Executive director, Justin Hewett, it is a proud South African brand with South African investors.
