Be prepared: Do as much preparation as you can before you start selling. Think of some objections that customers could have and then come up with answers.
Do Not Interrupt: Even if you already know what the objection is and how to handle it, do not interrupt your customer.
Thank: You should thank your customer for bringing the objection forth because that means she is giving you a chance to close the sale.
Agree: Agree with your customer before addressing the objecting. If she feels that you understand her, then she will understand you.
Deny: If you are sure that your customer is building the objection on assumptions, you can deny the objection.
Clarify: If you are not sure what the customer's objection is, ask her for clarification. You should not guess as it could be very harmful.
Say it: If you are sure that some objections will be expressed, you should try to express the objection by yourself as a pre-emptive measure.
Demonstrate: Some objections can be handled easily if you demonstrate some features of the product or offer a sample.
Write it: If your customer expresses several sales objections write down all of them and cross them off one-by-one as you address each of them.
Re-prioritize: Many objections are very subjective as customers base them on individual priorities. Change their priorities by telling them about the best features of the products.
Rename: If you change some word in the objection, you may get a sentence that sounds much more positive than what the customer said.
Humor: In some appropriate situations you should add some humor when dealing with objections.
Refer to others: Refer to previous customers who had the same concern before they bought the product and who are fully satisfied.
Check: If your customers do not express any objections, it does not mean they do not have any. Ask them if they have any questions or concerns.
Accept: If a customer doesn't buy from you now, it doesn't mean she won't buy from you in the future. Ask if you may contact her in the future and take down her details.
Learn: Make sure you know why the customer did not buy from you and learn from the situation so that you can adjust your approach.
